Will there be a ballot for tickets? No. Tickets will be made available for sale in two phases. The first release will be available from our general ticket sale date - 10 June 2014 (or 27 May 2014 via our priority access pre-sale). A second release of tickets will be available in 2015 however, we cannot guarantee that tickets will be available in all seating blocks / price bands. We therefore encourage you to purchase tickets as soon as possible to avoid the disappointment of not being able to attend a specific session or to sit in a specific location.
Can I purchase tickets in person? Yes, tickets can be purchased from The SSE Hydro box office. This is located at the Scottish Exhibition & Conference Centre (SECC), Exhibition Way, Glasgow, G2 8YW. The box office is open: Mon-Fri 10am-6pm and Sat 10am-5pm (subject to change based on events taking place at the venue). Tickets can also be purchased from the Glasgow Life Tickets box office. This is located within the Royal Concert Hall, 2 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow G2 3NY. The box office is open: Mon-Sat 10am-6pm.
If I book tickets in person can I avoid paying fees? The fulfillment cost is applicable on all transactions regardless of (a) the method of payment used, and/or (b) the channel via which tickets are purchased.
Can I buy a season pass for all sessions at the World Championships? No. You can purchase a Qualifiers season pass and a Finals season pass. PLEASE NOTE: qualifiers and finals season passes are now sold out.
How do I book tickets for the Accessible Areas of the Arena? Tickets for accessible areas of the venue are not available to buy online and can instead be purchased over the phone or in person at the venue box office where an advisor can personally ensure that the seats purchased are suitable dependent on individual needs. Those who wish to purchase tickets for the accessible areas may do so over the phone on 0844 395 4000 or in person at The SSE Hydro Box Office in the SECC. (Open Mon-Fri 10am-6pm and Sat 10am-5pm).
What payment methods are accepted? Most major Credit and Debit cards (including Visa, Delta, Electron, Maestro, MasterCard and Solo) can be used for tickets purchased online and in person. Cash will also be accepted for tickets bought in person at the venue box office.
Do children under 2 years of age require a ticket? No. Children under the age of 2 years at the time of the event are considered 'babes in arms'. They do not require a ticket and will not be allocated a seat. They must sit on the lap of an adult. Children aged 2 years or older at the time of the event require their own ticket and seat.
Can I buy tickets for multiple sessions in the same transaction? Yes, you can buy tickets for as many sessions as you would like to attend, with both qualifiers and finals session tickets available.
I live outwith the UK. Will my tickets be posted? All customers out with the UK will be required to collect their tickets from venue box office at The SSE Hydro Arena. This is the case for all tickets purchased irrespective of the ticketing agent used to buy your tickets.
Can I collect my tickets? Yes, if you select this option at check out. All box office collections must be made from the venue box office at The SSE Hydro Arena. This is the case for all tickets purchased irrespective of the ticketing agent used to buy your tickets. All customers out with the UK who have booked tickets for the event are required to collect their tickets in person at the venue box office.
If I purchase tickets and then cannot attend the event, can I get a refund? Tickets sold are non-refundable and non-transferable. Refunds cannot be issued unless the event is cancelled or re-scheduled.
Can I swap my tickets for another session? Unfortunately not. Tickets are available for each competition session during both the qualifiers and finals and are valid only for the session purchased. They are non-refundable and non-transferable.

I would like to work at the event as a volunteer, should I buy tickets? Yes! We don't want anyone to miss out on the chance to secure their seats at the 2015 World Gymnastics Championships. However, if you later apply and successfully secure a volunteers position at the event we would ask you to prioritise that role. We will always try and accommodate volunteers who hold event tickets to allow you to attend as a spectator however this cannot be guaranteed and it's possible you could find yourself with tickets you are unable to use.
If I am successful in securing a volunteer position at the event, will I be entitled to free or discounted tickets? Unfortunately not. Although you won't be entitled to any special discounts if you are successful, you will have a key role in one of the world's largest gymnastics events as it takes place in the UK in a pre-Olympic year. A very unique opportunity indeed!
What happens if I have tickets for a session during which I am expected to volunteer? We would ask you to prioritise your commitments as a volunteer which means it's possible you could find yourself with tickets you are unable to use. As event organisers we would try our best to avoid this situation however there are no guarantees.
When will I receive my tickets? If you have selected postal delivery your tickets will be dispatched 21 days before the event. If you have selected Box Office collection at check out, you will be able to collect your tickets from the venue box office at The SSE Hydro Arena from 21 days before the event.
