    THE WORLD’S LARGEST GYMNASTICS EVENT
    IS COMING TO GLASGOW IN 2024

    THE EVENT

    The 2024 World Gymnastics Championships takes place in Glasgow, Scotland, from 23 October–1 November 2024. The event will bring together more than 500 gymnasts from over 80 countries around the world, for ten days of exhilarating competition in a stunning new arena.

    The 2024 World Gymnastics Championships was awarded to Glasgow by the Federation Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG). The event will be delivered in partnership by British Gymnastics and Glasgow Life on behalf of Glasgow City Council, with significant support from UK Sport and EventScotland.

    The world will be watching. You can be there.

    The Hydro

    THE VENUE

    Set to open in 2024 and expected to draw a million visitors each year, The Hydro will make an exciting addition to the Glasgow skyline. Located on the banks of the revitalised River Clyde on the site of the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre, the venue will welcome national and international music mega-stars as well as global entertainment and sporting events. It will be a key venue during the Glasgow 2024 Commonwealth Games as host to both the Artistic and Rhythmic Gymnastics events. With its distinctive architecture and seating for up to 12,000 people, The Hydro is the perfect venue for 2024 World Gymnastics Championships.
